Southgate Square Cluster Regulations

 

» Trash Removal 

We ask all residents to avoid placing personal trash, appliances and/or dead-trimmed brush on Cluster property.  In order to arrange for pick up of such item, please call 703-802-3322.   Residents are also reminded to place garbage in the designated garbage containers with fitted lids, and avoid storing garbage outside in plastic bags.  We also encourage all residents to recycle (using the designated recycling bins provided by Fairfax County).

 

Trash should be set out no earlier than 4 PM the day before pickup. Trash container and bins should be put away by the end of the trash pickup day.   As a reminder, we ask all residents to put your house number on the containers and bins so neighbors can help if you are away. If you are not home, please ask a neighbor to help put out your trash. 

 

Lastly, we remind residents to refrain from using cluster trash cans for household trash/garbage.

» Children and Safety

Our community is home to many families with young children.  We ask parents to remind their children to play safely, and avoid playing in parking lots for safety reasons (and potential damage to parked cars and property). 

We also remind residents to watch out for children, when driving through the cluster.  The speed limit within the Southgate Square community is 5 MPH. 

» Pets

We welcome pets in our community.  In order to maintain the safety and cleanliness of our community, we remind residents to keep dogs leashed at all times, and pick up any pet waste when walking your dog.  We also recommend keeping cats in-doors.
